The Problem
When Sophy Sivaraman wanted to start a business of selling documentary films online, her friends referred her to Pigtail Pundits.

Sophy wanted to retail documentaries she had sourced from Indian and International film makers, online. And she wanted to do it better than what most folks who were doing already.

The Solution
Pigtail Pundits worked closely with Sophy, to understand her requirements.

The challenge was in enabling customers to search for documentaries, sample the documentaries online effectively, and then get them to buy it without hassles. And to do all this better than other competitive documentary websites.

The website is complete with an online documentary store, video trailers of documentaries, still photographs, directors' profiles, shopping cart, payment gateway and more.

The website was built on Joomla 1.5x CMS, with VirtueMart shopping cart, and K2 blog.
