The Problem
When the iconic brand Harley-Davidson came to India, they needed a reliable web partner for their online efforts.

With the help of their agency, The Republic, Harley-Davidson India chose Pigtail Pundits as their online partner.

With the Harley-Davidson India Motorcycles Launch only slated for mid 2010, the company had a plan for increasing awareness for the brand and getting bike enthusiasts around India get a taste of their superb machines.

Their plan included a basic website which could grow over time. Periodic events such as Founders Ride and Boot Camp, in various cities had to be featured initially, leading to Delhi Auto Show where their 2010 India line-up was released along with the bike pricing.

The Solution
Pigtail Pundits, in conjunction with The Republic who designed the website, worked closely with Harley-Davidson India team to create a website that truly epitomizes this iconic brand.

The result was a website that had room to grow. It was built on a rock-solid content management system for easy updation and yet it created a distinct Indian identity in the world of Harley-Davidson websites worldwide.

The website uses Flash, JQuery, Scriptaculous, FLIR, SlideShow Pro, Newsletter Management and custom scripting atop a Joomla 1.5 Content Management System.
